Terms of Use

The terms that govern use of the CIPG website and its content.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of cipgbd.org (the “Website”), operated by the Centre for Inclusive Policy and Governance (CIPG) (“CIPG”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. About the Website

The Website provides information about CIPG, its programs, projects, events, research, press releases and media coverage. Content is provided for general information and public-interest purposes.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Website lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• use the Website in any way that breaches the laws of Bangladesh or any other applicable law;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers or related systems;
• introduce viruses, malicious code or anything that may harm the Website or its users;
• use automated tools to scrape, copy or overload the Website in a way that disrupts its operation;
• submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive or unlawful information through our forms;
• impersonate CIPG, its officials or any other person or organization.

3. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of the Website — including text, research, reports, press releases, photographs, logos, graphics and design — is owned by CIPG or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and share our publications and press releases for personal, educational, research, journalistic and other non-commercial purposes, provided that you credit “Centre for Inclusive Policy and Governance (CIPG)” as the source, do not alter the content in a way that changes its meaning, and link back to the Website where possible. Any commercial use, or use of the CIPG name and logo suggesting endorsement, requires our prior written permission.

Media coverage, articles and images from third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

4. Accuracy of information

We take care to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties that its content is complete, accurate or current. Research findings and policy recommendations reflect the analysis available at the time of publication. See our Disclaimer for more.

5. Submissions and communications

When you contact us or submit information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

All official correspondence with CIPG should be sent to info@cipgbd.org. To help us respond quickly, please include a clear subject and relevant details. We review all enquiries carefully and respond as soon as possible based on relevance and priority. Communications through unofficial channels are not considered official correspondence of CIPG.

6. Third-party links and content

The Website contains links to and embedded content from third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, change or withdraw any part of the Website without notice, for example for maintenance or security reasons.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising from them or from the use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
